What causes vertical scratches in window tint over time? Dust and debris can get stuck in the bottom gasket of your window over time. Rolling up and down the window will cause the debris to scratch the film. This can even become a hazard overtime if the scratches get really bad.

The only way to fix this is to clean the gasket and replace the film on the windows.

The stock piece of paint protection film that Porsche puts on from the factory is surprisingly super small. If they just extended it a few inches in all directions it would cover all of the high impact areas on the quarter panel.

we decided to remove the factory piece and replace it with a slightly bigger piece of PPF. That way the client doesn’t have to worry about any rock chips along the bottom of the quarter panel.
